A globally-minded photojournalist and reporter, Larayb has documented arts, culture, lifestyle, and underground stories from across Lahore, Abu Dhabi, Paris, and New York City.
Larayb is a passionate journalist and storyteller with a love for exploring new perspectives. With a diverse portfolio of work ranging from news to reported features and cultural analysis, she has achieved notable bylines in publications such as The National, Canvas Magazine, Dawn, The Aleph Review, and more. Her writing typically spans topics like pop culture, diasporic and South Asian communities, women's narratives, and LGBTQ+ stories.
Across her career she has forged lasting relationships with upwards of 100 artists, grassroots organizers, editors, published authors, and Oscar-nominated producers, securing exclusive interviews and coverage. In 2021, she co-produced a 3-part series of artist videos and long-form features for publication on Google Arts and Culture as part of a commission from the Dubai government's Arts and Culture Authority.
